Hi from Troyeshchyna Gymnasium, Ukraine!

Hi everybody,

The Ukrainian students and teachers are  greeting the participants of the amazing adventure! All of us (in the USA, Argentina or Ukraine) are sure to adore the beauty of the Sequoia National Park, enjoy the videos, pictures and stories shared by the hikers, as well as demonstrate friendship and collaboration. We'd like to say thank you to Mr Meyers, Ms Edelein and the students from Alexander Dawson School for the invitation to take part in the trip. We think the trip is going to be educational, challenging and fun! Our students have created 4 groups called Blue, Green, Orange, Violet, and they are ready to become parts of the International team. Here is a presentation with 4 Introduction videos.

Best regards,
Ms Byzova, Ms Mozgova, Ms Smolii

Student Introductions - Dawson School, Colorado

We look forward to meeting all of the students from Ukraine and Argentina.
Thanks for joining us on this project!

Greetings from Colorado

Dear Students and Teachers,

At the Dawson School during the third week of March we have special classes. Many of these are trips to places where we can immerse ourselves in an area to learn more about it. This year Ms. Edelein and I are taking sixteen 7th and 8th grade students to Sequoia National Park in California. We realize that we are very fortunate and that many schools do not have the opportunity to travel like this. For this reason we have invited you to join us virtually through this blog. We feel that having you along for our adventure will enrich the experience for us as we post pictures and discuss what we learn with all of you. Thank you for joining us and we look forward to your pictures, questions, and comments on the blog.
Let's all get started on the AmArUk experience!

Sincerely,
Mr. Meyers

Giant Sequoia trees are truly the skyscrapers of the natural world.
It's going to be an amazing adventure!

Let's
